For more than ten years, Joerg Knuth has worked as a consultant and trainer in the business intelligence (BI) field and has extensive experience implementing projects in this field. In his activities as trainer, he has acquainted many people with Microsoft Office products, Excel and Word in particular. His repertoire ranges from the fundamental use of Office products to right through to the programming thereof. Issues like easy readability in reports and quick analysis of data are extremely important to these users. 

For nearly as many years, the focus of his work has been on the Microsoft SQL Server segment and its integrated products, Analysis Services and Reporting Services. In this regard, he also writes for Microsoft Press. The most recent book Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services - Das Praxisbuch (in German) came out in June 2009.
