Example 1

Fruit Trade
The Fruit Trade Report is based on a concept for English-speaking customers. It is a dashboard that conveys a general overview of the fruit trade. This clearly illustrates where the problems are to be found. Displaying numerous key data over the course of the year including identification of problems presented a special challenge.
Further reports that permit a detailed analysis are part of the design. The concept was implemented with Crystal Reports in the customer’s reporting system.
Upper left: Shipments are shown in green for the course of the year. In addition, the values for the previous year appear in light gray slightly offset in the background. Relative deviations are displayed above.
Lower left: The main target countries for the fruits are shown. Adjacent to this is the respective rate for punctual deliveries.
Center: Return shipments were made when fruit was either not purchased or had defects. This shows the numbers and relative deviations, as well as the percentage of the original deliveries.
Right: Service quality is a list of the main key performance indicators, shown over the course of the year. In order to detect problems instantly, the points at which thresholds are exceeded are highlighted.

Example 2

Fruit dealer compensation
The dashboard shown appears extremely unusual at first glance. In fact, it is a neutral dashboard taken from a current project, in which an interactive dashboard was designed and implemented for a well-established logistics company using Microsoft Reporting Services 2008 R2.
Through the strict application of the SUCCESS reporting notation from Hichert+Partner, the dashboard shown here provides an immediate overview of the company’s general trend in costs. It is important to be able to analyze partners, on one hand, and the profitability of the logistics company is visualized, on the other.
Integration of the narrow range of tolerance into both the positive and negative direction presented a particular challenge.
Further reports were part of the scope of design, which ensured a more detailed analysis.
Upper left: Deviation in compensation between setpoint and actual in absolute and relative values. Moreover, the deviation is cumulative to show how strong the deviation over a period is. This can be compensated or lead to substantial cumulative values.
Lower left: The compensation is displayed over the course of the year. In addition, the values for the previous year appear in light gray slightly offset in the background.
Upper right: This shows fruit dealers who have either received too much (Flop) or too little (Top) compensation. In addition, every row shows the main key performance indicators of a dealer in order to be able to quickly classify the effect of  the figures on the business.
Below: The quality of the fruit plays a decisive role in sales. The main indicators are summarized here.
