Since July 15, 2010, we provide a hotline service (subject to charge) to answer any questions regarding Excel. EUR 100 is charged for each half hour or part thereof. The first half hour is free of charge to former participants of our seminars.

In the last few years, we have regularly provided assistance to former participants of our Excel seminars with their specific questions about our Excel Tricks via e-mail, telephone, and Web conferences. As a rule, this service was free of charge. We have set up our FAQ page to address simple and recurring questions.

Since the demand for assistance with Excel has increased dramatically over the last few months, we have now expanded our service which, of course, can no longer be provided free of charge.

Our trainers Holger Gerths, Jörg Knuth, and Markus Wolff are available on our Excel hotline as your contact persons. 

The following Terms and Conditions apply to our Excel hotline:

1 Former seminar participants
The first half hour of our hotline service is free of charge to former participants of our seminars. This service is usually provided via e-mail or, if needed, also via telephone or Web conference.

2  Hotline topics
We will be happy to help you with all questions pertaining to the design of sophisticated charts and tables, in other words, relating to topics from our "Excel Charts" seminars. General questions about basic Excel functions (for example, how VLOOKUPworks) are not covered; there is enough relevant specialized literature as well as information on the Internet available to address these issues.

3  Hotline process

Please provide the following information:

- Your Excel version

- Your example file

- Your question

- Your name and billing address
 

4  Hotline fee

Our fee is calculated based on the amount of time required by our consultants:

The charge for every half hour or part thereof is EUR 100.

(The first half hour is free of charge for former participants of the Excel seminars held by H+P.)

If an e-mail response has been arranged, we will provide an estimate of the processing time before we begin.

5  Guarantee

We cannot guarantee that every question will be answered to your satisfaction. We will only process those questions for which we expect to be able provide a viable solution.

We make this restriction, because the client level of skill in Excel must be taken into account.
