Check data: Useful information
The quality of the available data pertains to relevance, correctness, and accuracy. The basic data used for reports and presentations should be relevant, in other words current and related to the topic. Obviously the measures and given dimensions should be correct. The recipient needs to know the level of accuracy and which tolerance limits he can expect from the available data.

4.1.1
Use correct, complete, current, and relevant data
Accuracy and suitability of the available data are the foundation of all reports and presentations. Often, however, requirements for completeness, up-to-datedness, and relevance must be weighed against one another; usually they cannot be fulfilled to the same extent.

4.1.2
Use normalized data: Inflation and currency adjusted
For longer timelines, it is necessary to take shifts in value into account stemming from currency and inflationary factors – this is the case above all when quantities and values are either combined or compared.
